Gsa Mileage Rate Increase 2024. 67 cents per mile driven for business use, up 1.5 cents from 2023. The reimbursement rate for the use of a private automobile for university business travel will increase from 65.5 cents a mile to 67 cents a mile.
Taxpayers may use the optional standard mileage rates to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business and certain other purposes. The rate is 11 cents higher than the 2021 rate.
